Junior High Volleyball & Football practices begin Monday, August 21st. Practice is roughly 3:30-5:30. JH VB will practice in Waubun. JH FB will practice in Mahnomen. There will be an activity bus provided to pick up students around the district and to shuttle them to Mahnomen and back to Waubun.

Waubun-Ogema-White Earth District #435 is seeking a Head Girls Basketball Coach for the upcoming season. Season begins November 13th 2023. With our talent, commitment and unity, we continue to build a strong team. The candidate should have previous experience in the sport of basketball, coaching experience preferred. This position is responsible for ensuring the Minnesota State High School League Rules and Guidelines are met for the outlined sport. Applicants must have quality communication skills, solid background knowledge in the sport, and the ability to lead. Coaching is a great opportunity to develop young athletes for the next generation and to instill values through athletics. On Wednesday the Envirothon Team had a Fun Day!! We traveled to Saint John's, NB to attend a Science Expo & had some time to explore downtown for lunch and a little shopping.
We then went to Irving Nature Park for a group picture & supper! We spent time on the beach, did a scavenger hunt & explored the beautiful walking trails.
