Congratulations to our February Seven Grandfather Teachings Award Winners: Zaagidiwin- Love - The Eagle
Knowing love is to know peace.
Our love must be unconditional. When people are weak, that is when they need love the most. Love is a strong affection for another. This can form between friends and family. Love is an attachment based upon devotion, admiration, tenderness, and kindness for all things around you. For one to love and accept themselves is to live at peace with the Creator and in harmony with all of creation. Love knows no bounds. We must accept it sincerely and give it freely.
Unconditional love cannot be given without loving oneself, much like the eagle who soars high and carries these teachings from the Creator to share with her young. Educate yourself before you speak, consult with your mentors and your communities and love yourself enough to overcome difficulties.

Exciting Adventures at the School Forest! 🌿🏕️
Our school forest has been buzzing with activity as students embrace hands-on outdoor learning! From exploring nature trails to engaging in interactive learning stations, students have been discovering the wonders of the outdoors while building important skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and environmental stewardship.
Recently, our first graders had an incredible afternoon sledding, hiking, and exploring as part of PBIS, reinforcing positive behavior while connecting with nature. Our Kick Start students also had the opportunity to engage in outdoor experience stations, creating lasting memories and fostering a love for the outdoors.
Outdoor education is an essential part of our learning community, helping students develop confidence, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world. We’re excited for more upcoming experiences at the school forest and invite families to continue the adventure at home—bundle up, get outside, and explore together!
Stay tuned for more updates on our outdoor learning experiences! 🍂❄️

Meet Us Monday:
Thank you for your endless patience, love, and dedication in shaping young minds. Your hard work makes a world of difference! Your kindness and creativity inspire a love for learning that will last a lifetime. Thank you for all you do!

Students from Mrs. Bement's 1st grade class are back in the spotlight! Today these students performed an adaptation of the nursery rhyme 'The Muffin Man' titled 'Looking for the Muffin Man.' These students show great courage performing in front of an audience and the expression that they use when reading could easily place them on Broadway someday!

❄️ Outdoor Learning in Action! ❄️
Our Kick Start students had an amazing afternoon sledding and exploring outdoor experience stations! Engaging with nature in all seasons helps children develop confidence, coordination, and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors. Plus, nothing beats the joy of flying down a snowy hill!
A huge thank you to our incredible teachers for making this experience possible and for fostering a love of outdoor play. Families, we encourage you to bundle up and keep the adventure going—winter fun is just outside your door! ⛄🌲
