
Brennen was chosen as Student of the Month. His teacher, Mrs. Peterson says, “I have enjoyed having Brennen in class.  He has an excitement for learning and has been giving Distance Learning his all.  He participates each day and works hard to complete all his assignments. Coming Soon: After School Indian Education Program and Activities.  Grades 4-12.  Programs offered will be: Credit Recovery (grades 9-12), Cultural Art and Activities (Ribbon Skirt making, beading, etc) and Quiz Bowl.  Parent Permission slips will be handed out soon- Space is limited due to COVID restrictions so a permission slip MUST BE TURNED IN!  Program starts February 8th and will run Mon-Thurs

eth was chosen as Student of the Month. Their teacher Mrs. Brininger said, “Seth is a wonderful student! As a distance learner, Seth attended all meets and always participated with enthusiasm. Seth is kind, polite, and works hard every day. I am lucky to have Seth in my class!”
Seth really likes playtime at school. Seth likes to play magnets and build castles. Seth likes to play games, like Minecraft, at home. Seth is most thankful for their mom because she loves Seth the most!

Coraleigh was chosen as Student of the Month. Her teacher, Mrs. Erickson says, “I chose Coraleigh as Student of the Month for December. She is very deserving of this award, as she is always ready to learn on our Google Meets. She shows up early for class, and is always well prepared with her supplies ready to go. Coraleigh is such a sweet, thoughtful, kind girl and is wonderful in every way! She is a great leader, always showing respect towards her teachers and classmates. She is wonderful at following the rules, and is always there to lend a helping hand to her classmates if needed. Congratulations, Coraleigh! I am so proud of you, and am so lucky to have you in my class!”
 
Coraleigh is most thankful for helping everyone. She helps them figure things out. Coraleigh likes to play on the swingset during recess time. She likes to play with her sister at home. They like to play magnets together. Coraleigh considers herself a peek-a-boo expert!

Kenzie was chosen as Student of the Month. Her teacher, Mrs. Erickson says, “I chose Kenzie as Student of the Month for December. Kenzie is very deserving of this award for multiple reasons. She goes above and beyond to complete her work in a timely manner, and is always trying her best. She joins our class Google Meets with a smile, and a "ready to learn" manner. Kenzie always has a warm smile, and is such a great leader and helper towards others. Congratulations, Kenzie! I am so proud of you, and am so lucky to have you in my class.”
 
Kenzie loves to play dinosaurs at school. At home, he loves to play ‘school’. She also loves to color on her toy dogs, Rexi-poo and Quiggle-poo. Kenzie is most thankful for playing with her friends and family. Kenzie’s favorite trick is to jump off the couch into Emma’s arms. Then she goes upside down and does a somersault or a headstand! Wow! 
 
Kenzie you are a hard worker and a kind friend! We love you at Ogema School!

Michael was chosen for Student of the Month. His teacher, Mrs. Jorud says, “Michael has been working hard on his schoolwork during online learning. He cares about doing well and has a quiet confidence that I love to have in class. Michael is a kind, considerate student who doesn’t bring a lot of attention to himself.  He has worked hard at being consistent during distant learning and it has proven to pay off! His quiet demeanor and sweet disposition is a great example to his peers.  What a nice young man and a true pleasure to have in class!”

Naiah was chosen for Student of the Month. Her teacher Mrs. Skersick says, “Naiah has been an amazing Distance learning student. She always comes to every google meeting early and ready to go with all supplies. She has been doing an outstanding job of getting his assignments completed and turned in in a timely manner . Every assignment is always completed.  She is a very good friend and sticks around to talk or help out her friends with questions..  Naiah always makes sure to ask for help when she needs it. . I am so grateful to have Naiah as part of my class this year. Keep up the amazing work Naiah and keep sharing all the kindness, stories and smiles.”
