Thunderbird Student Spotlight!
Ben was chosen as October Student of the Month in Kindergarten. His teacher, Mrs. Erickson says, “I chose Ben as Student of the Month because he always strives to do his best in school, wherever he is. He shows respect by raising his hand and using his manners, and is a great leader by walking quietly in the halls. He is also a good friend to all, always making his friends giggle and laugh. Congratulations, Ben! ”
Ben is most thankful for his mom because she makes good dinners. His favorite is meatballs! Ben’s favorite part of school is gym class where he loves to run, skip, and play freeze tag.
Fun facts about Ben: He hunts with his dad. According to him, they get really big deer!! Ben can also do a handstand on a trampoline.
Ben, you are amazing!! Keep up the good work!

Tomorrow will be a Distance Learning day (like a Friday). This will require attendance check-ins. The Board will be revisiting the Learning Model Shift to Distance Learning at the Wednesday, November 4th, Special Board meeting at 6:00 pm. That will determine our school model for the remainder of the week and next week. There will be tier 1 childcare tomorrow. I apologize for the last-minute change, but if we as a District are undecided about changing our model, we cannot use tomorrow or the rest of the week as planning days. Information regarding our model and schedule will be sent out immediately following the school board meeting. We apologize for any inconvenience.
