WOWE is proud to congratulate Tramaine Vail on his WHS graduation on Friday, August 19, 2022. Tramaine completed all the graduation requirements and is now officially a part of the Waubun Class of 2022. Congratulations!!!!

An exciting week for Thunderbird Athletics, as JH practices start TOMORROW. For the week of August 22nd: Both JH FB & JH VB will practice 6:30 - 8:30 pm. JH FB will practice in Mahnomen JH VB will practice in Waubun The JH Transportation Schedule (for Waubun student athletes) is below. Fall Varsity Practices start TOMORROW! Get registered and complete your (online) paperwork—don’t forget to double check those physicals! Students not registered online will need to complete that before they are eligible to compete. JH Fall Sports begin on the 22nd! More information to come soon! JH players, if you are entering 7th grade and have NOT completed a physical, schedule one ASAP. You must also register online before you can compete. Physicals are required for all student-athletes participating in Sports and are valid for 36 months.

The candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a Boiler License is preferred but not required. This position is responsible for providing the students and staff with a clean and functional environment for education. Starting wage is $18.05/hour-with possible increase dependent on qualifications and a shift differential of $1.00 an hour. The candidate should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent and be willing to obtain their Safe Serve Certification within three (3) months of hire. This position is responsible for providing a wide variety of support including: food preparation, serving and clean-up. Starting wage is $22.56/hr). Please note that the sports physical clinic (5:00-8:00pm) is open to any students who need an updated physical for the upcoming school year. The sports meeting at 6:00pm is only for student-athletes who plan on participating in a fall activity (football, volleyball, or cheerleading).

Attention boys 9-12th grade, Football season is right around the corner. A football Mini camp will be offered July 25th-27th. Forms are being mailed out, or you can pick up in the High School office. Please don't forget to sign the wavier.
