
Gracianna was chosen for student of the month. Her teacher, Mrs. Johnson says, “Gracianna is a very kind student who will play and be friends with anyone who asks her. She shares with students who are in need and she will help any student who needs help. Gracianna has a 'Never give up" attitude and likes to be challenged. She is a role model for other students to follow and she always has a smile on her face. I am very lucky to have Gracianna in my classroom!”
Gracianna’s favorite part of school is math and reading. Her favorite books are the Fly Guy series. At home, she likes to watch tv with her mom and play tag with her sister. Her favorite food is pizza. Gracianna can do a cool magic trick. She can flip her hand upside down with a penny in it. The penny doesn’t fall! How cool!
Gracianna, you are a leader at our school! Keep working hard!

Tavion was chosen for student of the month. His teacher, Mrs. Oertwich says, “I chose Tavion as my February student of the month. He consistently shows his teachers and fellow classmates Thunderbird PRIDE. Tavion works hard in and out of the classroom. He really has grown a lot academically! He never gives up and never complains. I’ve never seen him upset or frustrated. He has a positive attitude and is a friend to all. Keep being a great leader, Tavion!”
Tavion’s favorite part of school is math class. He loves to work with numbers. Tavion loved his Christmas party in 2nd grade because he got to watch a movie. His favorite is pizza. Tavion’s favorite books are the Dogman books.

Erickson
Lainey was chosen for student of the month. Her teacher, Mrs. Erickson says, “Lainey is a shining light in our classroom! Caring, trustworthy, respectful, and responsible are all characteristics that describe Lainey. In our classroom, she can be found using a 5 Star Listening Body when learning and participating. She is always willing to help out her teachers and classmates with a smile, and is such a wonderful friend to all. She is also a very hard worker, making sure to complete her work to the best of her ability. Congratulations, Lainey! I am so proud of you, and am so lucky to have you as part of my classroom family this year. Keep up the awesome work!”
Lainey’s favorite part of school is gym because she gets to run, gallop, and play freeze tag. In the classroom, she likes to play blocks with her friends. At home, Lainey likes to gallop. She says she really likes to gallop, a lot! Her favorite food is pizza. Her favorite books are about horses. Horses are her favorite animals!
