Kaiann was chosen for student of the month. Her teacher, Mrs. Skersick says, “Kaia has been an outstanding student this whole school year. She always treats everyone with respect and is always willing to help her fellow classmates with questions. She does an amazing job cleaning up after herself and keeping her desk very neat and tidy. She is very friendly and kind to anyone that is around her. When it is time to start working on assignments, she does not waste time and starts right away. Everyday morning work is always completed.f. I am so happy to have Kaia as part of my class this year. She is a wonderful student. Keep up the amazing work Kaia and keep being that amazing student and person you are. Students like Kaia make our work as educators so very enjoyable and we need to say, Chii Miigwech!” Kaiann’s favorite part of school is math because she likes to count. She says she can count higher than 1000! Kaia also likes gym because she gets to run. At home, Kaiann likes to read Junie B. Jones and Judy Moody books. She can do a one handed cartwheel! Kaia really enjoys dancing to all types of music. Amazing work, Kaia! You are such a wonderful leader at Ogema Elementary!

Max was chosen for student of the month. His teacher, Miss Ring says, “I nominated Max for Student of the Month because he is an outstanding friend and a wonderful role model to others! Max is kind, responsible, hard working, helpful, respectful, and energetic! He always has a smile on his face and loves to make others laugh! Max truly brings out the best in others and everyone loves being around him! He does a fantastic job completing his work in a timely manner and I love that he pays close attention to the details. He is also a great story teller and I love how passionate he is about farming! Max does a wonderful job showing his THUNDERBIRD Pride inside and outside of the classroom! Congratulations, Max! Keep working hard and shining your light!” Max’s favorite part of school is gym. He really likes Mr. K because he makes him run. Max likes to work on birthday cards for his friends. At home, Max likes to play with his dog, his farm set, and snowmobile with his dad. Max’s favorite food is pizza and hot dogs. His favorite book is ‘real life books’ about animals. Sincere was chosen for student of the month. His teacher, Mrs. Jorud says, “Mrs. Jorud's third grade class voted Sincere for February Student of the Month. Sincere is always spreading smiles to others in the classroom. He cares for his classmates' happiness and lifts them up when they are feeling down. He can frequently be observed giving compliments and praise to everyone around him. Sincere helps so much by making good choices, spreading love through friendship, careful listening and laughter! Keep on smiling Sincere!” Sincere’s favorite part of school is gym and riding the bus with his friends. In gym, he likes to play capture the fox tail. Sincere likes to play Battleship with his friends. At home, Sincere likes to play Minecraft with his sister. Sincere plays tag at home and school! His favorite book series is the I Survived series. Todd was chosen for student of the month. His teacher, Mrs. Harstad says, “Todd is a joy to have in class. He comes to school everyday ready to learn. He is a caring and kind student, willing to help his classmates if needed. He treats everyone with respect and is a hard worker. Congratulations for being February's Student of the Month!” Todd’s favorite part of school is playing football at recess. He likes to do math problems, too. At home, Todd likes to snowmobile. Orianna was chosen for student of the month! Her teacher, Mrs. Peterson says, “I nominate Ori Syverson for February student of the month. Ori has a heart of gold and shows that every day. She always comes to school with a smile on her face and greets everyone she meets. She will continuously go out of her way to make sure that others are included and that no one gets left out. She is a friend to everyone and is one of the first ones I can count on to help others. Ori shows her PRIDE and encourages others to do the same. She works hard and shows a love for learning. I am so proud of you, Oriana!” Orianna’s favorite part of school is reading about dogs. Dogs are her favorite animal. At home, she likes to play with her puppies. Nolan was chosen for student of the month. His teacher, Mrs. Moore says, “Nolan is an absolute joy to have in class. He is funny, smart, and kind! He works hard to complete his work, then goes above and beyond to coach others and find challenges for himself to work on. He takes pride in his work and loves learning something new! Nolan works hard to make positive choices and encourages others to do the same. He truly makes our classroom and school a better place!” Nolan’s favorite part of school is snack time. He likes ritz bitz the best. At home, Nolan likes to play Sorry and play on the snow mountains. His favorite food is mac n cheese. Nolan says his parents have ‘how to throw the trash away’ lessons at home. His favorite book is “Are you my Mother?” You make us proud, Nolan!!

Daven was chosen for student of the month. Her teacher, Mrs. Bement says, “I am choosing Daven as student of the month because she has such a caring heart and shows kindness towards others. Daven is an excellent encourager and truly wants others to be the best that they can be. She is a friend to all and always jumps at an opportunity to help someone out. Daven is reliable and I can count on her to show her Ogema PRIDE in all areas of the school. I love grading Daven's work because she has beautiful handwriting and it's so easy to read! She might even have neater handwriting than me but with a few less years of practice! I appreciate all that Daven brings to our classroom - she is a great role model to her peers. Continue to do great things and make positive choices Daven, it will bring you far in life!” Daven’s favorite part of school is music because she loves to sing. She also likes to do math problems. James was chosen for student of the month. His teacher, Mrs. Johnson says, “I chose James as Student of the Month because he has been working very hard on his academics. He always tries his hardest and he never gives up! James also shows his Thunderbird Pride in everything that he does. He is thoughtful and caring to his friends and he is respectful to adults. Whenever I need help around the classroom James is always a student who I can turn to for help. His smile is very contagious and everyone loves to be around him.” James’ favorite part of school is recess. He likes to play kickball with his friends. He also likes to play fox tail in gym class. At home, James likes to play video games and ride snowmobiles. James says he can do back flips, front flips, and walking hand stands. James is a drummer and is learning how to drum from his elders. His favorite part of drumming is taking leads, when he gets to sing and drum on his own. James really likes to go to drum practice! Keep up the hard work James!!

Her favorite books are the Fly Guy series. At home, she likes to watch tv with her mom and play tag with her sister. Her favorite food is pizza. Gracianna can do a cool magic trick.
