Sports/Activities- Thursday: Varsity BBB vs New York Mills in Waubun. C team 5:00, JV 6:00, Varsity to follow.~ Picture day for JH GBB, Varsity Basketball and Dance Friday: Dance at Frazee 6:30pm. Bus leaves Mahnomen at 3:30. Saturday: Basketball DH vs Rothsay in Waubun. Both JV's 12noon. Girls Varsity approx 1:30pm, Boys to follow. ~Dance at DL. Bus leaves Mahnomen 8:30am.~JH GBB Tourney at Fertile. Bus leaves Waubun 7:30am. The wrestlers will be competing in the Hillsboro wrestling tournament on Saturday the 7th. Buses will leave Waubun at 6:15 AM and Mahnomen at 6:30 AM. Weigh-ins are at 8:00 AM. First round is at 9:30 AM. The Thunderbirds will face Central Cass at 9:30 AM (Round 1). They will then wrestle the following teams in subsequent rounds: LaMoure (Round 4), Grafton (Round 5), Hillsboro (Round 7) and Pembina County (Round 8).

Waubun Boys and Girls Club has returned and will be open this week Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (closed on Tuesday) ~ hours are 3:30-5:30 for 5th and 6th graders and 5:30-8:00 for 7th-12th graders.

The Waubun Senior High band will be having a couple "extra" performances this holiday season (in addition to our regular concert). First, we will perform "Polar Express" at the academic breakfast on Dec.18th. On Dec. 20th, we will be performing in West Acres at 10:00 AM in front of the JCPenneys store. "Happy Holidays!" from the band!
