The Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbird wrestling team received the 6th seed at sections. They will wrestle BGMR (3 seed) on Monday March 8th at 5:00 PM (tenative) in Greenbush. There are only 64 tickets available for Mahnomen/Waubun. We are offering 2 tickets per wrestler and two per coach. The tickets need to be paid for before they are accounted for. Any extra tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Tickets must be bought from either John Clark or Tim Spaeth before Monday at 10:00 AM. Tickets are $7.00 K-Adult. The following are the Covid Guidelines for BGMR schools.

Spectators:
Each team’s school may have up to 64 spectators. Some seating spaces have partially obstructed views. Only 40 people may sit on the stage.
BGMR wrestlers, managers and coaches will have the first opportunity to pay and sign up 2 spectators each, starting Friday as soon as the seeding meeting is over.
Any openings on the spectator list after 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 8 will become available to the general public until 2:00 p.m. The sign-up link will not be available after 2:00 p.m. Monday.
Spectators pay $7.00 each at the Badger or GMR office in order to get on the list. Exact change is appreciated, and checks may be made payable to Greenbush-Middle River School.
Spectators may only sit as singles or pairs, even if they are in the same household. Groups of larger than 2 would be seated too close to other spectators.
All spectators will be masked and seated at a distance in spaces marked with red tape.

No passes will be honored.
Do not attend if you are unwilling to comply with these requirements:
Spectators may only sit as singles or in pairs. Groups of 3 or more are not allowed in order to maintain the required 6 feet of space between spectators. Seats are marked with red tape.
Spectators will not sit or stand in a group or crowd together -- only in singles or pairs. If you don’t like this arrangement, do not attend.
“But we are in the same household.” Only singles or pairs. If a group is 3 or more, then you are spread out too close to the next group of spectators.
Spectators will not arrive prior to 4:10 for the first match or shortly before the second dual. There are no concessions and no gathering in groups to socialize, so there is no reason to arrive early. Spectators will leave immediately after the match and avoid gathering in the hallways, gym or other areas in school.
Attention Thunderbird Fans: There will be a shortened B team game for the girls basketball tonight so the Varsity will start a good half hour earlier than normal.
