October is "Socktober" in our school. Socktober update: The 4th graders are in the lead with 36 pairs of socks. 5th grade has 22 and the 6th grade 16. Two more days to go for these grades! The baskets will be out on the stage before school each morning.
Homecoming is next week:
Monday: Dress Up Day- Coronation @ 2:30 (juniors and seniors can attend and the rest of the student body will watch on livestream)
Tuesday: Jersey Day- Candidate games
Wednesday: Frat Boy Day
Thursday: “Pink Out” Day
Friday: Spirit Day- Kiss the Goat (put money in the container before school all week to vote for the teacher you want to have kiss a goat) ~ Parade @ 1:45~ Powder Puff Football, Stud Volleyball

today the ALC students took a field trip to Thief River Falls to tour the college and Artic Cat. It was a perfect day!!!
Sit on the couch during the football game in Mahnomen.
The cheerleading squad will be selling chances for one lucky winner and two of their friends to sit on a special couch located on the sidelines of the field. The winner and their two lucky friends will also be given popcorn, soda, pizza, and candy for the game.The drawing will take place Friday before the game in Mahnomen.Students can purchase during the week at school. Community members may purchase before the game. The cost of the ticket is $1.00.

Special School Board Meeting
October is "Socktober" in our school. Attention 4-6 graders: This is your week for Socktober! Bring in brand new socks and put them in the correct basket in the commons. These will go to help families in need. There is also a contest to see which grade can collect the most socks
Midterm is Friday! Make sure all of your homework and assignments are turned in!!
