Congrats to the junior high and varsity baseball teams on their victores last night over Hawley. Junior High won a thriller 13-12 with a 3 run 2-out rally in the bottom of the 5th while varsity scored 4 in the bottom of the 6th to win 4-3.

Mental Health Awareness Week:
On the stage will be sheets of paper to write one way you take care of your mental health (no names) This will be turned into a chain of coping skills!
4-12 graders check your email and answer the questions for a chance to win a price each day!
7-12 during lunch watch for the Student council to be asking you to take the pledge!
You are pledging to end stigma and create hope for those affected by mental health!
Together we can encourage acceptance and understanding. Together we can advocate for a better world. Together we can turn stigmeFree Me into StigmaFree We!
4-6 graders will be creating a wall of Hope poster in their hallway!

The June 15th Basketball Camp Registration is due by FRIDAY for both boys and girls. A reminder that anyone going into 7th-12th grade for the 2021-2022 can attend the camp. Both boys and girls players can submit their forms to Mr. Qual when you have them.

The first graders finished learning about butterflies and were able to watch the life cycle of the butterfly happen in their classrooms. All of them let their butterflies go this week!

Remington was chosen for student of the month. Her teacher, Mrs. Bendson says, “Remington is a wonderful girl. She is sweet and kind and good-natured. Remi is funny and creative and a friend to all. Remington has worked hard all year to master the kindergarten curriculum. Every day she works harder than the day before, and she takes pride in doing quality work. Remington is an excellent role model for her peers and a joy to her teachers. Congratulations, Remington, on earning Student of the Month; I am so proud of you!”
Remi’s favorite part of school is writing. She loves to draw pictures and write about puppies and cat. Remi’s highlight of kindergarten was hatching chicks. She loved to hold them and write in her chick journal. Remi is most thankful for Mrs. Bendson because she taught her so much. She taught her about the United States. At home, Remi likes to go to bed. She also likes to play with her dolls. Remi is very excited about bringing chocolate ice cream for her birthday treat!
