Issabella was chosen as student of the month. Her teacher, Mrs. Peterson says, “Issabella has returned to Ogema and jumped right back into Distance Learning full steam ahead! She joins every google meets on time and participates in each of them. She has lots of fun energy and encourages each of her classmates during our lessons. I am so proud of how hard Issabella works and the progress she is making in her short time back at Ogema. Keep up the great work!”
Issabella’s favorite part of school is math because she gets to learn equations and her sister helps her. Her highlight of first grade coming to school to see her teacher. Issabella is most thankful for her friends. She likes to be in school with them and play with them. At home, Issabella plays with her cousin. They play a game called “rocks are eggs” where they take care of the rocks until they ‘hatch’!! What great creativity!!

Alivia was chosen as student of the month. Her teacher, Miss Ring says, “I chose Alivia for Student of the Month because she is always so cheerful and she has such a kind heart! Alivia has a fun bubbly personality and she is a wonderful friend to everyone! She always tries her best and works so hard on everything she does. She has a growth mindset and never gives up! She does an outstanding job getting her work completed and she never hesitates to ask for help whenever she needs it. Alivia also has a very creative imagination and is so thoughtful. I love all of the sweet cards and art that she has made for our class and myself. I am very lucky and proud to have her as a part of our class! Congratulations, Alivia! Keep up the AWESOME work!”
Alivia’s favorite part of school is playing outside, especially in the sandbox and on the spin-omi. Her highlight of 1st grade is how awesome her teacher is and all of her new friends. Alivia is most thankful for her teacher, Miss Ring, her friend, Stella, and her mom. She likes what her mom cooks, especially pizza. Stella is a good friend and Miss Ring is always surprising the class. At home, Alivia likes to jump on the trampoline and play with her kittens.

Gracianna was chosen as student of the month. Her teacher, Miss Stalberger says, “Gracianna works hard from the beginning of the day until the very end! She has made a ton of progress in her academics this year and continues to shine! Gracianna is the class helper - always willing to lend a hand to others, clean up supplies, organize, and even sweep the floor! And she does it all with a smile on her face! She is a friend to all and radiates kindness wherever she goes! We love having her in first grade!!!”
Gracianna’s favorite part of school is recess because she plays with her friends and teacher. Her 1st grade highlight is doing coloring contests in her classroom. She LOVES to color! Gracianna is most thankful for her friends, Maddie and Hannah. She is also thankful for her teacher, Miss Stalberger. At home, Gracianna jumps on her trampoline and in the bouncy house!

Niveah was chosen for student of the month. Her teacher, Mrs. Haugo says, “Niveah is such a great quiet leader. She is very respectful and fellow classmates respect her. Niveah is kind and thoughtful. She is also very patient. Niveah is good to her friends and likes to visit with them. She follows Thunderbird P.R.I.D.E. by encouraging others and doing her best. She works hard at all her school work. Niveah is always ready to lend a hand in the classroom. She is a fantastic Ogema 2 nd Grader!! Way to go Niveah for being chosen as this month’s student of the month!” Niveah’s favorite part of school is math because she loves learning about shapes. She especially loves to color in lots of shapes. Niveah likes to write sentences too. At home, she likes to play hide and seek with her cousins. Niveah likes to play games and color pictures of cats.

Isaiah was chosen as student of the month. His teacher, Mrs. Johnson says, “Isaiah is a great student with lots of Thunderbird Pride! He always works to his highest potential even when the work gets tough. He has a "never give up" attitude and does it all with a smile. I can always rely on Isaiah to help out around the classroom or to give me some great ideas on topics we are learning about. I am very lucky to have Isaiah in my classroom!”
Isaiah’s favorite part of school is learning science. His highlight of second grade is working on his computer. He really liked doing the assignments on SeeSaw. Isaiah is most thankful for his teacher, Mrs. Johnson because she teaches him lots of fun things. At home, Isaiah likes playing outside. He plays tag or rides a bike. Isaiah’s favorite school lunch is chicken nuggets, french fries, and applesauce!

Cooper was chosen as student of the month. His teacher, Mrs. Haugo says, “He is ready to assist people with anything technical in the classroom. He is a quick thinker. He is always trying to solve problems that take innovative thinking. He contributes to class discussions and understands math well. He has a great sense of humor and loves to smile and laugh at jokes and funny things that happen in the classroom. Cooper is organized and clean. His
classmates look up to him. He treats people with respect and classmates respect him as a leader in our class! I enjoy having his enthusiasm in my class. Way to Go Cooper!” Cooper’s favorite part of school is math because he likes to add numbers together. Cooper’s highlight of 2nd grade is all of the math he has learned. He is most thankful for his older brother because they go to fun places like the beach. At home, Cooper likes to ride his dirt bike on the trail. Cooper’s favorite food is spaghetti and he says his mom makes the best!!

Since this is also our fine arts celebration, there will be student artwork on display in the gym and the choir will also have a short performance in the choir room at 7:30. ***Unfortunately, Covid guidelines still apply in school, so these concerts are only open to invited guests.

Xander was chosen as student of the month. His teacher, Mrs. Johnson says, “Xander is one of the hardest working students in my class. He always has a smile on his face that makes everyone around him smile. He is encouraging to other students who need help and always being kind to everyone. I can always depend on Xander when I need help or to help another student. I am very lucky to have Xander in my classroom! ”
Xander’s favorite part of school is recess because he gets to play sports and football. He also likes math time. His favorite math subject is to solve the problems. Xander’s favorite memory of 2nd grade is playing with his friends. They like to play football! Xander is most thankful for his teacher, Mrs. Johnson. He loves that she teaches them lots of ways to do math. At home, Xander likes to play outside, especially catch with his uncle!
