
Vanessa was chosen as 3rd grade Student of the Month. Her teacher, Mrs. Skersick nominated her because, “Vanessa is a very caring and helpful student to everyone around her. She always comes into the classroom every morning greeting all her friends and teachers and offering her help. She has been doing an outstanding job of getting all her assignments completed and turned in on time. She is a very good friend and always willing to share and help others out whether it is in any subject or just someone to talk to . Vanessa is a very hard worker and always looking for ways to challenge herself. She is caring, friendly, compassionate, organized, sharing, loving, and sweet. I am so grateful to have Vanessa as part of my class this year. Keep up the amazing work Vanessa and keep being that outstanding student and person you are.”
Vanessa’s favorite part of school is lunch. Her favorite meal is smiley fries. She also loves that she gets to write a lot. Vanessa enjoys writing fiction stories. At home, Vanessa likes to watch tv and lay with her dog. Her dog’s name is Jameson. She also likes to play with her ‘styling head’ and braid the hair with her dad. Vanessa enjoys styling hair, especially making buns in her hair. What a neat talent!

Abby was chosen as 3rd grade Student of the Month. Her teacher, Mrs. Jorud says, “Abby could be student of the month every month, if possible. She consistently models the character, work habits, life skills and excellence any teacher or parent would want in a child. Abby treats others with kindness and patience and is a positive role model for her peers. Abby is ambitious, caring, and confident.”
Abby’s favorite part of school is recess because she gets to play with her friends that are in different classes. They like to play tag. She also likes to see all her friends and talk with them. At home, Abby likes to play with legos. She enjoys building houses with bedrooms. Abby’s favorite food is enchilada hotdish. Abby can do the splits, too!

Alivia was chosen as 2nd grade Student of the Month. Her teacher, Mrs. Johnson nominated her because, “Alivia shows Thunderbird Pride in all aspects of school. She is always working hard with a "Never Give Up" attitude. She does a great job at participating in classroom discussions and is always respectful to other students and teachers. I am very lucky to have Alivia in my classroom! Alivia is a kind and caring student. She is always helping students who need it and going out of her way to make other students feel welcome and comfortable in our classroom. Her smile is contagious and she makes everyone around her smile.”
Alivia’s favorite part of school is eating lunch. Her favorite meal is taco in a bag. Her favorite meal at home is pizza night. She also likes to play tag and hide and seek at recess time. At home, Alivia likes to watch tv, especially Scooby Doo. Her favorite book to read is “all of them!”

Hadley was chosen as 2nd grade Student of the Month. Her teacher, Mrs. Oertwich nominated her because, “Hadley always goes above and beyond what is expected of her at school. She pushes herself to exceed my expectations and even asked for homework to take home for fun! She takes notice of students who might be feeling left out and find ways to include them. Hadley helps others with their work when they need help. Hadley is a ray of sunshine in and out of the classroom! She can be seen sharing a smile with anyone and everyone! Her happiness is contagious and she has such a big giving heart! You can't help but smile when you're around Hadley! Keep shining!”
Hadley’s favorite part of school is everything, especially playing with her friends. They like to play gymnastics. They do splits, one handed cartwheels, round off, bridges, and much more! At home, Hadley likes to play with her cat and watch the Masked Singer. She is cheering for the Black Swan this season. Her favorite food is taco in a bag. Her favorite books are the Owl Diary series.

Hannah was chosen as 2nd grade Student of the Month. Her teacher, Miss Steffens says, “She is always so kind to others and is a big help when it comes to giving reminders and showing what it means to be a second grader at Ogema. She is so happy and kind to others, she looks for the best in everything and everyone. She is also not afraid to say what she feels, but in the kindest way possible.”
Hannah’s favorite part of school is science. She loves everything about it, especially learning about animals. Her favorite animal is a baby bunny. Hannah also loves to read. Her favorite books are about unicorns. At home, Hannah likes to color pictures. Hannah can do back hip swings on an exercise ball. What a cool trick!

Brylee was chosen as 1st Grade Student of the Month. Her teacher, Mrs. Turner says, “Brylee is a good friend to all, including them in activities and helping them when needed. She tries hard, does well and encourages others. Brylee is kind, courteous, and has a happy outlook on life.”
Brylee’s favorite part of school is gym class. She loves to run with the balls. She likes that Mr. Kemper makes her class run a lot! Brylee also likes to learn about apples at school. At home, Brylee likes to play on her playground with her brother. They like to play Sorry together too. Brylee’s favorite food is taco in a bag.

Eva was chosen as kindergarten student of the month. Her teacher, Miss Ring says, “I chose Eva for Student of the Month because she is respectful, kind, compassionate, and wonderful in every way. She is an awesome student who works hard, she goes above and beyond what is expected, and she always sets a quiet example for others to follow. She is a ray of sunshine in our classroom and school! We love having you in our class, Eva!”
Eva’s favorite part of school is playtime because she likes to play dress-up. She likes to dress up as the butterfly the best. Eva’s favorite lunch at school is taco day. At home, Eva likes to play with her dogs. Their names are Ringo and Ruby. She likes to give them bones to chew on. Eva is a good bike rider and says when she rides her bike, she can spin it in circles.

Fannie was chosen as Kindergarten student of the month. Her teacher, Mrs. Brininger says, “Fannie is an awesome student! She is always participating, doing her best on her work, and being kind to others.”
Fannie’s favorite part of school is playtime. She likes to play with babies with her friends. Fannie also loves to ride the bus because it brings her to school. At home, Fannie likes to ride bike with her family. She is very proud of herself because she can ride without training wheels. Fannie can do handstands, walk backwards on the beam, and do front flips. Fannie really loved her birthday party this year because she got to have a water bouncy house party! Sounds like fun!
