January Student of the Month!

🌲 Winter Camp at the Waubun School Forest ❄️
Today, Hause's 4th graders came out for a meaningful Winter Camp experience at the Waubun School Forest. The day celebrated the beauty of nature, the richness of Ojibwe culture, and the wonder of winter wildlife.
Here’s what they explored:
📖 Ojibwe Storytelling: Students learned about the important role winter storytelling plays in Ojibwe culture, preserving traditions and teaching life lessons.
🐦 Winter Birds: They studied the unique behaviors of winter birds and created suet cakes to support these resilient creatures in our forest.
🌨️ Outdoor Exploration: Embracing the crisp winter air, students connected with the natural beauty of the School Forest.
We’re proud to provide opportunities like these that deepen students’ understanding of culture, community, and the environment.
Thank you for supporting programs that bring learning to life in nature!
