Tayvin was chosen for student of the month. His teacher, Mrs. Brininger says, “Tayvin is a sweet boy who shows love to his classmates and teachers every day. He is helpful, kind, and loves to do for others. He also has a lot of enthusiasm for school and learning, and works hard at everything he does. He is a joy to have and I am grateful to be his teacher!” Tayvin’s favorite part of school is playing hide-and-seek at recess with his friends. He really likes eating chicken nuggets too. Tayvin is a dinosaur enthusiast! His favorite is the stegosaurus because this dinosaur is the strongest one! Tayvin, you are such a joy at Ogema Elementary!! Keep up the hard work!

Shaun was chosen for student of the month! His teacher, Mrs. Skersick says, “Shaun is a very outgoing and caring student. He always treats everyone with outstanding respect and makes sure no one is ever left out. He does an amazing job of participating in classroom lessons and is always raising his hand. If you're having a rough day go to Shaun, he will always have a joke to try to cheer you up. He is always on the lookout to help the friends around him with anything even if they just need to talk. When it is time to start working on assignments, he does not waste time and starts right away. His desk is always very neat and tidy and he always cleans up after himself. I am so grateful to have Shaun as part of my class this year. Keep up the amazing work Shaun and keep being that amazing student and person you are.” Shaun’s favorite part of school is playing dodgeball in gym and football at recess. He likes to learn about the planets. He likes Saturn because it has rings. At home, Shaun builds tunnels in the snow, plays catch, and plays games with his family. Shaun’s favorite trick is jumping off a building into a snow pile. His favorite food is goulash. Yummy! Awesome job, Shaun!! Keep it up!

Max was chosen for student of the month. His teacher, Miss Ring says, “I nominated Max for Student of the Month because he is an outstanding friend and a wonderful role model to others! Max is kind, responsible, hard working, helpful, respectful, and energetic! He always has a smile on his face and loves to make others laugh! Max truly brings out the best in others and everyone loves being around him! He does a fantastic job completing his work in a timely manner and I love that he pays close attention to the details. He is also a great story teller and I love how passionate he is about farming! Max does a wonderful job showing his THUNDERBIRD Pride inside and outside of the classroom! Congratulations, Max! Sincere was chosen for student of the month. His teacher, Mrs. Jorud says, “Mrs. Jorud's third grade class voted Sincere for February Student of the Month. Sincere is always spreading smiles to others in the classroom. He cares for his classmates' happiness and lifts them up when they are feeling down. He can frequently be observed giving compliments and praise to everyone around him. Sincere helps so much by making good choices, spreading love through friendship, careful listening and laughter! Keep on smiling Sincere!” Sincere’s favorite part of school is gym and riding the bus with his friends. In gym, he likes to play capture the fox tail. Sincere likes to play Battleship with his friends. At home, Sincere likes to play Minecraft with his sister. Sincere plays tag at home and school! His favorite book series is the I Survived series.
