Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Community! We are in need of some amazing local families to open up their home to international exchange students arriving in August! The students will attend Waubun High School for the school year. Host families come in all shapes and sizes; retired, single parents, couples with or without children of any age, etc. Truly, no family is too big or too small. A host simply puts another plate on the table and welcomes the student as one of their own! If you or anyone you know might be interested in the opportunity, please email r.lotvolaciee@gmail.com for more details or start a host family application at ciee.org/host. I look forward to helping find a student that is the perfect fit for your family!

Aubrey is kind to everyone she is around and always has a smile on her face. She also always treats everyone with respect and kindness. I am so lucky to have Aubrey in my classroom.” Aubrey’s favorite 2nd grade memory is when she scored 6 correct answers in a row during a Kahoot game. She thinks that math is really fun. Aubrey likes numbers, subtracting, and adding. At home, she likes to watch Teen Titans with her brother. At home, she likes to draw cats with chalk. Aubrey enjoys reading about cats!
