COVID-19 Protocol Update
Dear Parents,
Please see the district website for COVID-19 updates that reflect the MDE’S “test to stay” and CDC’s new quarantine options. Our goal is to provide families with more choices and options. Please continue to check back to the website for dashboard updates, new guidance, and resources. If you know you will be participating in the COVID testing or screening please complete the consent form and return to your school office. We will still call and ask for a verbal consent any time testing is considered.
We update our dashboards every Friday afternoon, so you can keep up today on our COVID-19 case counts. This week we are experiencing a significant increase of cases. Communities across the state are experiencing the same. However, it is important to know that we are not having a school-wide spread. But yes, Omicron does spread more easily and we are seeing that in our increased cases. Most of our positive cases are coming from out of school, home, or athletic exposures. We will continue to utilize our many mitigation strategies to keep our students and staff safe and learning. Please do the same out of school also. Please follow the link to the COVID -19 tab and information. https://www.waubun.k12.mn.us/page/covid-information
