Waubun Ogema White Earth School uses a variety of digital tools to support student learning. Technology vendors and software is utilized to support work as we help all students develop the skills necessary to succeed in an ever-changing world.
We have an inventory of our curriculum, testing, and assessment tools posted at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tIJF8gZkmoNNAiTPuuqR8_sccEiXwXf5fOgu8v6zZ4E/edit?usp=sharing and include an outline of the student data elements within each tool. This list is maintained and communicated annually to all families at the start of the school year.

Open House tomorrow from 4-6pm in both Waubun and Ogema.
Elementary football will have practice Monday-Wednesday this week from 6:30-8:30pm in Waubun (at the football field). Please note that transportation will not be provided.
Please see the attached activity bus schedule for Waubun student-athletes for the upcoming week. Practices will take place from 3:30-5:30 unless coaches have shared other information with their teams.
If necessary, this schedule may be adjusted due to other events taking place this week such as home games, open houses, orientation, etc. In that case, notice will be given to teams via coaches, and information will be posted here as well as on the school website.
Tuesday, August 30th from 4-6pm- WOWE Open House.. All grades in both Ogema and Waubun Schools. Meet your teachers, check out your classrooms, get your locker assignments, JH & SH pick up your schedules. Please bring all updated forms, lunch forms. More are available if needed. JOM will be available to help enroll students, sign up for after school activities and MUCH MORE!! We are excited to see you all there!! Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year Thunderbirds!!!
WOWE is proud to congratulate Tramaine Vail on his WHS graduation on Friday, August 19, 2022. Tramaine completed all the graduation requirements and is now officially a part of the Waubun Class of 2022. Congratulations!!!!

Waubun-Ogema-White Earth District #435 is seeking PARAPROFESSIONALS at our Ogema site. The WOWE staff is truly “one team with one goal.” This position will assist, support and work closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members in providing educational benefits for students. Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and must be able to meet Minnesota Paraprofessional requirements by having an Associate degree or higher, or the ability to successfully pass the Para-Pro Test, the starting wage is $17.35 per hour plus Benefits. Fall Varsity Practices start TOMORROW! Get registered and complete your (online) paperwork—don’t forget to double check those physicals! Students not registered online will need to complete that before they are eligible to compete.
JH Fall Sports begin on the 22nd! More information to come soon! JH players, if you are entering 7th grade and have NOT completed a physical, schedule one ASAP. You must also register online before you can compete.
Physicals are required for all student-athletes participating in Sports and are valid for 36 months.
