Liam was chosen as student of the month! His teacher, Mrs. Haugo says, “We are excited to award Liam "April Student of the Month" for doing an outstanding job on learning. He is motivated, focused and shows great effort in all of his school work. He is making gains in the STAR tests and is above grade level in both Reading and Math. He actively participates and has interesting information to add to all discussions. He is a positive role model for his fellow classmates. Liam has a great attitude and readily shares his smile with others. Liam likes to make sure all students are treated fairly. He is kind and gets along with all of his classmates. I have really enjoyed having Liam in my class. Congratulations Liam! It is students like you that makes our work as teachers so rewarding!”
Liam’s favorite 2nd grade memory was meeting friends on the first day of school. He shared he was most excited that his best friend was in his class. Liam likes to play tag, run, and talk with his friends. At home, Liam jumps on the trampoline or plays dead man. His favorite food is his mom’s meatloaf. Liam likes to read about non-fiction books because he likes to learn new facts. Liam shared that he can do a 3 second handstand and a front flip on the trampoline!

Annabella was chosen as student of the month! Her teacher, Mrs. Erickson says, “Annabella is a shining light in our classroom! She is a wonderful friend to all, always thinking of others first, making sure that they are happy and feel included. She can be found helping her friends with certain tasks throughout the day, as she has such a loving and caring heart. She does all of her work to the best of her ability, even when it’s challenging. Bella is also very respectful to all of her teachers as well, following the directions right away. Congratulations, Bella! I am so proud of you, and am so lucky to have you as part of my classroom family this year. Keep up the awesome work!”
Bella’s favorite kindergarten memory is when they made 100 pancakes for the 100th day of school! Her favorite thing to learn about is numbers and letters. Bella’s favorite number is 100 and her favorite letter is ‘Z.’ At home, Bella likes to watch tv, play with baby dolls, and play barbies. She jumps on the trampoline at home, too. Her favorite food is potato hotdish and her aunt and uncle special spaghetti.
