While the State tournament didn't go as well as hoped, we had a lot of fun, ate a lot of good food, and made some memories. Lilly and Eric's high school career in speech may be done, but Scar and Elliot hope to continue the tradition they started and compete at state next season!

Mrs. Halverson's Class had a blast on their field trip to MSUM Planetarium, Concordia College, and Moorhead DQ. What a great day with incredible memories made!
Come join us for a fun night at ECFE tonight May 1st! The Waubun-Ogema-White Earth ECFE program is a fun night for children ages 0-4 and their parents/guardians.

Waubun and Ogema Schools held Mini Pow Wow & Demonstrations on Friday, April 28th. Miigwech to Tom Mason for being the event MC, to the Iron Bear Drum Group, the Mahnomen Singers, our senior helpers, community volunteers and Patti DeGroat, Lera Hephner and Teresa Rojas for their planning and organization!

Our 3rd grade students started taking turns with the Ogema Kids in the Kitchen. Through the week they learned about kitchen safety and how to wash dishes, prep food, serve food, clean and organize! A big thanks to our kitchen crew for all their support!

Truth gives us the ability to act without regret. We must understand, speak, and feel the truth, while also honoring its power. Truth should not lead us to deceptions. We know who we are in our heart. By knowing that, we also know the truth. Our emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual gifts will guide each one of us in our journey.
Truth is having the knowledge of our cultural teachings.
The turtle, who methodically walks the Earth as one of our eldest animals, reminds us of our teachings that proceed and survive all of time. Walk with these teachings; share these teachings from a true place of regard for their capacity to enrich our own lives and those who we encounter.
