Way to go Hadley September Student of the Month!

Mrs. Haugo's kindergarteners made some chalk pumpkins today in art with Ms.Skersick! We learned about blending colors and how red and yellow make orange!
Ms. Coyour's 2nd graders had art with Ms. Skersick and they learned about the color wheel, mixing paint and created snapper turtles!



Mrs. Olson's kickstart students had art with Ms. Skersick where they made some happy Bees!




Mrs. Haugo's kindergartners had art with Ms. Skersick where they made a "kissing Hand" raccoon inspired by the story they read in class!




Mrs. Johnson's 2nd graders made snapper turtles and learned about the color wheel and color mixing with Ms. Skersick!



Ms. Skersick's art 1 students completed their ceramic pumpkins and the contest winners for "Best Pumpkin" will be announced on Halloween by a special guest!










Some of Ms. Skersick's art 1 students completed their spooky acrylic paintings! They are spooktacular!





Mrs. Heisler's kickstart students were introduced to watercolors and how to use a paintbrush in art class and were challenged to colorize their pumpkins!




Some more of Ms. Skersick's art 1 students were able to finish their acrylic paintings today, and the last pumpkin for the contest has been completed as well!





Mrs. Moore's first grade completed their Frankenstein directed drawings they made for art with Ms. Skersick!





Reminder: Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Public Schools will be having a scheduled two-hour late start tomorrow, Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
Student drop off will begin at 9:40 AM and breakfast will be served until 10:10 AM.
