The Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Family literacy team was excited to partner with WETCC Extension, and White Earth Tribal Public Health along with the Tribal Statewide Health Improvement Partnership grant from the Minnesota Department of Health to bring you, Kids in the Garden take-home activity. This week we had ECFE-3rd grade plant 6 different seeds to take home and grow along with a book about planting. They planted looseleaf blend lettuce, cherry belle radish, cilantro (coriander), parisienne carrot, sugar bon snap pea, and true lemon cucumber. Good luck growing and enjoy!

Our 3rd grade students tie dyed shirts yesterday. This has become a tradition sponsored by our PTSO. Students will wear them during their final music program at Ogema Elementary in May. It was a fun and creative activity filled with smiles. A big thank you to our amazing PTSO and volunteers!
