12U SOFTBALL SCHEDULE
Congrats to the baseball team on their thrilling victory over Lake of the Woods on Tuesday in Baudette. The boys scored 4 runs with 2 outs in the top of the 7th to win 5-3. The boys will play Fosston at 10 am at Bemidji State University, which will be on the radio 96.7
Congrats to the following track athletes for advancing to sections on Friday at DGF;
Kaitlyn Obowa - 100M Hurdles and 300M Hurdled
Gavin McArthur - Long Jump, Triple Jump, and 400M
Anthony Thompson - Long Jump
Congrats to the girl's golf team for placing 2nd in Section 8A. Advancing to state are Cady Clark, Izzy Schlik, and Leah Hlubek. Another congrats to Cady Clark for being the Section 8A Girls Medalist
Congrats to the boys golf team for placing 2nd in Section 8A, Advancing to state is Blake McMullen.
Boys and Girls state golf for our individuals will be in 2 weeks!

The last week of school was crazy fun and went by so fast. Here are our winners from our Quarter 4 Assembly. Also, we had a few kids who got All A's for the school year. We had our A'' A winners pick a friend to play our minuet to win it game of stacking 5 dice on a popsicle stick. The winning team got their grade level picked first for the PRIDE ticket drawing.

Tuesday, May 28:
Track Subsections at Ada, this is a continuation from last Thursday as they had to halt the track meet due to lightning. The meet will resume at 11:30.
Girls and Boys Golf Section 8A Day 1, Starting at 8am. Both of our golf teams made it to sections.
Baseball, Section 8A Playoffs 1st round. The boys travel to Baudette to take on Lake of the Woods, first pitch at 3:30.
Softball - Although our girls softball season came to an end, the Section 8A semi-finals are played today in RLF.
Wednesday, May 29:
Girls and Boys Golf Section 8A Day 2, Starting at 8am
Thursday, May 30:
Track Section 8A Competition @ DGF
Baseball - Winner of Thursday's match will enter double-elimination. Winner will face Fosston at 10:00am at BSU.
Softball - Section 8A Championship
Saturday, June 1:
Baseball - If the boys win Tuesday and at least one game on Thursday they would play again on Saturday in Crookston at UMC.
Congratulations to the junior high baseball team on a spectacular season. They finished the season with 28 wins and just 2 losses. This is an exceptional group with a bright future ahead on the baseball diamond. Thanks to the players for an unforgettable year!

The last day is here! Ogema Elementary had their final All-School assembly. We presented the Excellent Attendance Award and the Ogema Pride Award. We also played 'Hungry, Hungry Horses' and had a relay race, in which the WHS graduates got to participate in! Finally we ended our assembly with Pie Face to celebrate filling up the Tbird Ticket Tower!! We hope every one has a great summer! See you in the fall!

Mr. Skersick's zero-hour morning Lifters. Thanking them for their hard work and commitment to getting themselves better. They have made significant gains in the last few months
This week's cool, wet, and windy weather was not conducive for our "Outside Beach Reading Day" today, so we moved it indoors. The kids did a great job imagining we were on the beach, and then sharing what book they're reading with others. Hopefully, they check out some of the reading suggestions this summer.
The Thunderbirds boys' golf team are Section 8A South Sub-Section Runner-ups and advance to the Section tournament in Bemidji on May 28-29. Carter Clark finished 4th place with an 81. The Thunderbirds had 4 golfers in the top 10. Congratulations!
