📚🍂 This Week at WOWE: Thanksgiving Edition! 🦃📖 Hello, WOWE families! We’re diving into a week filled with learning, gratitude, and Thanksgiving cheer! Here’s what’s happening:

Starting in December After School Indian Education Program will be learning about traditional gift giving in the Ojibwe Culture. We will be making some amazing things each week for students to take home and give to their family & friends. Program runs Tues, Wed, Thurs from 3:30-6:00. Grades 4-12. Students can sign up by completing a permission form.

Miss Coyour's Class Sparks Creativity for the T-Bird Pride Penny Party! ✨🪙 We’re thrilled to share that Miss Coyour’s students have come up with an amazing and unique way to celebrate this year’s T-Bird Pride Penny Party! Their idea not only shows their school spirit but also highlights their teamwork and innovative thinking. 🏆 What’s Their Big Idea? They’ve created a Corn Dog decorating party! It’s a fun way to bring everyone together while showing off their T-Bird pride. Each student got to crate their own cord dog puppet and enjoy some delicious cord dogs of their own.

🌲 Kick Start’s Adventure at the School Forest! 🌳 On Friday, our Kick Start students had an incredible time exploring the School Forest! They built forts, tried their hands at using tools, and learned through hands-on nature-based activities. It was an afternoon filled with curiosity, teamwork, and so much joy. Why is outdoor play so important? 🌞 • It helps kids build confidence and creativity. • It strengthens their connection to the natural world. • It fosters problem-solving, collaboration, and a healthy sense of adventure! We’re so proud of these young learners for diving into the experience and embracing all the benefits that come from being outside. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day a success! Gracianna is one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet. She is kind to everyone and is always willing to help with any task. Gracianna is an excellent student, and loves to do well in school, and has excellent attendance. She always has a smile on her face, and never backs down from a challenge. W.O.W.E Winter Weather Information As we begin our Winter Snowy months! W.O.W.E District would like you all to remember some Winter Weather Information.

Yesterday, some of our 3rd graders scrubbed in at the Ogema Elementary Review Hospital! They went into several operating rooms to diagnose main ideas, performed surgery with contractions, deciphered character traits of our hospital patients, solved math word problems for our hospital staff, and performed distributive surgery! After all of their hard work in the operating rooms, they settled into their seats to enjoy some snacks. The American Heart Association recommends eating fish twice a week for a heart healthy diet so they enjoyed some goldfish and washed it down with some blood (fruit punch). They had so much fun and loved putting all of our hard work to use! Thank you to our student teacher, Rachel Sand, and her 'medical team' of staff/volunteers for organizing this fun, hands-on learning experience for students!
