As the school year comes to a close, we extend our heartfelt thanks and congratulations to two incredible teachers who are retiring from Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Schools. Val Syverson has served our district for 21 years, and Vicki Haugo has served for 37 years. Together, they have poured their hearts into our schools, shaped countless lives, and made a lasting impact on our students, staff, and community. Their legacy is not just measured in years. It is reflected in the students they inspired, the relationships they built, and the unwavering commitment they showed every day. Val and Vicki, thank you for everything. You will be deeply missed, and we wish you all the best in this new chapter.

Congratulations to our 2025 POWWOW Royalty. Maize McArthur, Milo McArthur, Carl Wadenah, and Deja Jackson. The JR and SR Princess and Brave will represent WOWE school district at varies powwows and events throughout the year. Powwow Princess and Brave have duties that go beyond simply dancing and representing their tribe or community. They act as ambassadors, mentors, and role models, upholding the values of respect, tradition, and good behavior. All the participants did an amazing job and should be proud of themselves.
