WOWE American Indian Education Program is still accepting Food Donations this week for our own backpack program and the Mahnomen/Becker County Food Shelf. Ojibwe culture giving is central to maintaining balance and reciprocity with the natural world and among people. Honor comes with generosity! Miigwech to all that have donated.

Ribbon Skirt kits created by our Indian Education Student Group will be given away for some door prizes during conferences Tuesday and Thursday night. Come check them out and visit our staff for a chance to win.




Movie Night will be held at Waubun High School in the choir room. Tickets will begin to be sold for the 4pm movie at 3:30 and the 6:30 movie at 6:00pm. You are welcome to bring blankets and your own chairs. Concessions will be available from 4pm-7:30pm Tickets are $5 a piece and include a water and bag of popcorn. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow evening!

Native American Heritage Month Dress up days celebration is this week!

Fall Conferences are this week- Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-7:00 at both school locations for all grade levels. Tons of activities, food, book fair, door prizes and more! Come to discuss with our staff what a wonderful year we are having and touch base about your student!
