Thank you to the amazing first-grade teachers for bringing your students to the school forest! We had a blast exploring, creating, and connecting with the natural world around us. It’s always a joy to see young learners light up with curiosity and excitement in nature. Here’s to more muddy boots, big smiles, and outdoor adventures ahead!

Huge congratulations to these outstanding students who earned the R&J Broadcasting Good Student Award: Savannah Keezer, Brynn McArthur, Hudson McArthur, Nicholas Baker, Lexi Pazdernik, Cleighton Hoban, and Dakiya Smith! These students were honored for their hard work, character, and commitment to making a positive impact. During the banquet, Brooke Pond of Jacobson Body Shop was so inspired by one student’s story, she awarded an extra $250 scholarship to Dakiya Smith! Dakiya’s heartfelt interview moved Brooke — and reminded everyone why celebrating student success matters. Check out the full story from the Good Student Award Banquet here: https://rjbroadcasting.com/good-student-award-banquet-2/#page-content Way to go, students — you make your schools and communities proud!

What an Incredible Week at Sugar Bush Camp—4th Grade Style! What a fantastic experience it has been having our 4th graders out at Sugar Bush Camp this week! Their curiosity, excitement, and eagerness to learn made each day truly special. Sugar Bush Camp is more than just being outside—it’s a place where learning comes to life. From tapping maple trees and collecting sap to discovering how maple syrup is made, our students were immersed in hands-on lessons that connect directly to science, culture, and the seasons. These outdoor experiences help our 4th graders deepen their understanding of the world around them while also learning about respect, responsibility, and the traditions that have been shared for generations. Being on the land helps them see learning through a new lens—one rooted in place, connection, and community. A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring Sugar Bush Camp to life for our 4th graders. These are the moments they’ll carry with them for years to come!
