Tuesday: Football playoffs: #2 Mahnomen-Waubun will host #7 Red Lake @ 6:00 pm in Waubun
Wednesday: Federal Programs and Indian Education Public Hearing @ 5:00 pm Regular School Board Meeting @ 6:00 pm in the Waubun School Board meeting ( Programs are available for review at the District's Indian Education website)

The yearbook will be having a "scary" good flash sale starting today and ending on Halloween. For the next two weeks, students and staff can get their yearbook for $40. After Halloween the price will increase to $45. Students and staff can visit Jostens.com and click on the "Yearbooks" tab, then click on "Buy Your Yearbook" to start the purchasing process.
The Thunderbird Football and Cheer teams would like to send a huge shout out thank you to all who participated in our 'Tackle Cancer' fundraisers on Wednesday night! With your help we raised $259.00 to send to the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund! Thank you!

The Fall BAND Concert is Tuesday, Oct. 29th at 7:00. This is for all 5-12 band students. Everyone is invited to this FREE event. Students performing should be here by 6:50.

PTSO Halloween Party- Sunday, Oct 27th 1-3pm, Waubun Commons. $3 or 3 canned goods- children must be accompanied by an adult
We will be celebrating Unity Week next week for anti-bullying.
Monday: Everyone has a name- teachers/students will be encouraged to start the day creating name tags
Tuesday: Mix-n-Match Day- (we are all important, even if we don’t match)
Wednesday: Unity Day- Wear Thunderbird Gear (Pride Shirt)
Thursday: Favorite T-shirt day (wear a shirt that expresses a subject you are passionate about, hobby, jersey, music, ect. -MUST FOLLOW DRESS CODE

The fall choir concert had to be rescheduled due to the volleyball team making the playoffs. The new date is Monday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. in the commons. We hope to see you there.
