Little Thunderbird Student Spotlight: Khloe was chosen as September Student of the Month. Mrs. Erickson, her kindergarten teacher, says, “I chose Khloe as Student of the Month because of the effort that she puts in each and every day to do her best. Showing respect by having a listening body, raising her hand to talk, and looking at the speaker are just a few of the ways that she does her best. She is also a very caring person and friend towards others. Way to go, Khloe!” Khloe says she feels most proud of herself when she walks nicely in the hallway, writes her name nice, and when she is learning how to read. Her favorite thing about school is when she goes home, singing songs, and reading. One fun fact about Khloe is she makes teddy bear cookies with eyes, ears, arms, and whiskers. Yummy!! Wonderful work, Khloe!! We love having you at Ogema Elementary!

Little Thunderbird Student Spotlight: Shaun was chosen as September student of the month. Mrs. Oertwich, Shaun’s 2nd grade teacher, says, “Shaun goes above and beyond every single day. He always has a positive attitude and encouragement to share. He greets everyone with a smile and hello.” Shaun says he is most proud of himself when he walks quietly in the hall, waits for other people, and studies hard. He likes gym the most about school because he can run and race his friends. Fun fact about Shaun: He can almost do a front flip if he practices a little more! He also gets his school work done really fast. Fantastic work, Shaun! You are a role model at Ogema Elementary!!
