Hudson was chosen for student of the month. His teacher, Mrs. Jorud says, “Mrs. Jorud's 3rd grade class voted for Hudson because he honors Debewin/Truth. Hudson is always truthful to his classmates, his teachers, and himself. He understands that in order to learn and grow he must follow teachings of truth, even when it is challenging. Hudson is conscientious with his work, is witty, and is always helpful in class. He is always eager to learn and enters the classroom each day with a smile on his face. Way to go Hudson!”
Hudson’s favorite part of 3rd grade is lunch. His favorite lunch is cheesy breadsticks. In the classroom, he loved the doing the turkey project where they made paper turkeys. Hudson enjoys playing football with his brother when he is at home. His favorite book series is “Amulet.” Hudson demonstrated a cool trick where he can suck in one nostril!
Way to go, Hudson! You are a cool kid!

The 1st graders have been busy over the last 3 weeks learning about Tropical Rainforests. To wrap up this unit, each first grader chose an animal from the rainforest and completed a research report about that animal. They then worked with their families to create a model of their animal out of clay. Please enjoy the video of our first graders showing their model and telling you one thing they learned about their animal! Thank you to Mr. Peterson for helping to put together the video!--
