Junior High Volleyball & Football practices begin Monday, August 21st. Practice is roughly 3:30-5:30. JH VB will practice in Waubun. JH FB will practice in Mahnomen. There will be an activity bus provided to pick up students around the district and to shuttle them to Mahnomen and back to Waubun.

The candidate should have one (1) year experience in food service preparation, cooking and operations in a commercial kitchen, a High School Diploma or Equivalent, must have a Safe Serve Certification and also be willing to meet Minnesota Department of Education School Nutrition Program training hours. This position is responsible to develop quality, nutritional menu options for the school district, prepare the outlined daily food menu and ensure the overall performance is meeting established nutritional and safety guidelines to promote healthy food options and to ensure having a successful food program. Starting wage is $20.05/hr or DOQ. Work schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., M-F. Waubun-Ogema-White Earth District #435 is seeking a Head Girls Basketball Coach for the upcoming season. Season begins November 13th 2023. With our talent, commitment and unity, we continue to build a strong team. The candidate should have previous experience in the sport of basketball, coaching experience preferred. This position is responsible for ensuring the Minnesota State High School League Rules and Guidelines are met for the outlined sport. Applicants must have quality communication skills, solid background knowledge in the sport, and the ability to lead. Coaching is a great opportunity to develop young athletes for the next generation and to instill values through athletics.
