A few fun highlights from the last day of school at Ogema Elementary!

Students and staff kicked off the morning with a colorful walk into school surrounded by bright chalk artwork and lots of smiles! We also wrapped up the year with our all-school assembly featuring end-of-year recognitions, staff and student games, the Kick-Start/Senior Class photo and special senior and 3rd grade walkthroughs.

The 2025–2026 school year was filled with learning, laughter and memories we’ll never forget!

"Skersick's morning lifters finished off another year of hard work in the weight room. I would like to thank each of these individuals for their commitment and dedication throughout the entire school year. This group started their day at 6:30 each morning. Through their busy schedules around school and multiple sports, late nights and early mornings, these kids are one of a kind. The weight room isn't for everyone, but this group embraced every opportunity they had. Special shout out to Mason Drinkwine on 100% attendance for the entire year - he never missed a day.

The Thunderbirds Girls Golf team placed 2nd at the Subsection meet yesterday, and will move on to compete at the Section 8A Meet in Bemidji next week.

Isabella Schlick placed first overall and Kendall McArthur placed 7th overall. Great job girls!

Mrs. Schroding's homeroom students finished their paper mache robins in art!

Mrs. Herrmann's 5th graders finished their paper mache robins in art!

The junior high boys baseball team finished the season last night with an exciting 7-inning thriller, coming from behind to beat Fosston 6-5 on a walk-off RBI single by Owen Swiers in the bottom of the seventh inning. Eli Pazdernik scored the winning run. Swiers also went the full seven innings on the mound, striking out eight.

Congratulations to the boys on another very successful season, finishing the year with a 16-8 record. This group of eighth graders has had an outstanding career at the junior high level, compiling 32 wins and just 11 losses during their time. Bright futures ahead for this talented group!
