Come join us for a fun night at ECFE tonight April 3rd! The Waubun-Ogema-White Earth ECFE program is a fun night for children ages 0-4 and their parents/guardians.
Mrs. Bement's 1st grade class filled up their pride pennies last week for having excellent behavior! To celebrate, they voted to have the students be the teacher for a lesson ! Students that wanted to participate filled out a lesson plan just like a classroom teacher does and Mrs. Bement got to sit back and be a student! The "teachers" even got to call her by her first name when they called on her! Students taught about topics such as how to fish, facts about dinosaurs, pokemon cards, and cats. They were very informative! They've already earned quite a few more pride pennies so hopefully they can get one more big celebration before the end of the school year! Keep up the great work 1st graders!

Respect your place and carry your pride with your people and praise the accomplishments of all. Do not become arrogant and self important. Find balance in within yourself and all living things.
We must always consider ourselves equal to one another. We should never think of ourselves as being better or worse than anyone else. Humility comes in many forms. This includes compassion, calmness, meekness, gentleness, and patience. We must reflect on how we want to present ourselves to those around us. We must be aware of the balance and equality with all of life, including humans, plants, and animals

Scan the QR code to pre-register for Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Kick-Start for the 2023/2024 school year. Kick-Start is a School Readiness preschool program located in Ogema Elementary School. Kick-Start is for children who will be entering Kindergarten the fall of 2024. Your child must be 4 years of age by September 1, 2023 to attend Kick-Start. There are three classrooms of Kick-Start, with an all day, five days a week schedule. A paper copy is also available in the District Newsletter. Today our School Forest students experienced the restoration process of a Wiigwaasi-Jiimaan (birchbark canoe) from the 1870s. Thank you to the White Earth Tribal and Community College for hosting and allowing us to participate in this event.
Mark your calendars! Ogema Elementary students will perform some fun songs to wrap up our school year. Hope to see you there!
