Summer Reading Ideas. Reading, in general, is highly effective at building up a child's knowledge in a vast amount of subject areas, including English, math, science, and history.


The Waubun Envirothon team worked on freshwater mussel identification/anatomy and aquatic macroinvertebrate identification to determine the health of aquatic ecosystems based on biotic factors Tuesday night at the school forest. They leave for the North American Envirothon in New Brunswick Canada July 21st.



Today's PeeWee Baseball game @ Waubun: LPA only has one PeeWee team so we will do older boys @ 12:30 and youngsters to follow. (June 21)

Summer Rec Baseball and Softball bus has just left Hawley, and should be back to Waubun around 3:40 PM
Wild Rice Electric Cooperative gives back!
The WOWE Elementary Wrestling Club received $2000! This welcome donation will continue to help these young athletes compete! The money is earmarked for warmups, singlets, and other gear. It will also be used to defray the cost of team tournaments and state championship matches. The funding from Wild Rice Electric Cooperative’s Operation Roundup Program will help ensure that our elementary wrestlers have the gear they need to be the best wrestlers they can!


Softball girls just left Barnesville- Should be back in Waubun around 3:30. Pick up your players in Waubun (6/13/23)
