Hey Thunderbird Fans- Community Send-Off-

Dear ISD #435 Families and Staff,
Tomorrow, November 15th, classes will resume at Ogema Elementary School. The gymnasium is undergoing continued cleaning and air filtration at this time, which will cause that area to remain sealed off until further notice. All other areas, including classrooms, hallways, and offices have been comprehensively treated and are safe for students and staff to utilize without restriction. Again, we thank you for your continued patience as we work to put this unfortunate situation behind us. We are thoroughly excited to have our staff and students back tomorrow!
Sincerely,
Jordan Spaeth, Superintendent

Dear ISD #435 Families and Staff,
Today, an in depth assessment of the Ogema Elementary School building was conducted with input given from the State Fire Marshal. As a result of this assessment, affected parts of the building have been sealed off and cleaning and restoration efforts will begin tomorrow morning. Therefore, Ogema Elementary (Grades PreK-3) will not have school tomorrow, November 14th, and the building will remain closed for the day. The Waubun campus (Grades 4-12) will have a regularly scheduled school day. All student-teacher conferences scheduled for tomorrow will be held at the Waubun campus, with conferences for students in grades PreK-3 happening in the main gymnasium at their previously scheduled time. We thank you for your flexibility and understanding during this difficult time. More updates will follow as cleaning and restoration efforts continue.
Sincerely,
Jordan Spaeth, Superintendent
