2026 Youth Summer Internship with White Earth Nation Natural Resources is now taking applications. This is a 12 week program starting June 2nd. Must be 16-25 years old with a valid Driver’s License, an interest in Natural Resources and complete an application and the letter of interest.

The 2026 Summer Seek to Learn Academy will be held June 16th through June 18th. For students/families that are interested in the Summer Academy, please complete the interest form below. Information will be emailed to students/families starting in April and registration will be confirmed after the Health Care Packet is completed and returned.
The annual Summer Seek to Learn Academy provides high school students from all over Minnesota the opportunity to get the “college experience”. Students stay in the dorms at FDLTCC during the three-day, two-night Academy. Each day provides a new experience for students to explore college and career opportunities, develop college readiness skills, learn about the programs at FDLTCC through mock college classes, participate in Ojibwe Language classes, and build new friendships with other Academy participants. The Summer Academy is free to students and is open to students entering grades 9-12 in high school.

Mark Your Calendars: Kindergarten Round-Up will be held on Thursday, April 9th @ 5:30pm.
This is a time for families of children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026 to meet the teachers & staff, tour the classroom and complete paperwork.
We are excited to welcome our future kindergarten students and begin building strong partnerships with families. We look forward to seeing you there!

WOWE students- register for the Princess or Brave contest for the Spring Powwow on March 20th. Open to all students, must wear traditional regalia (any kind) and positively represent WOWE and White Earth Nation. The Jr and Sr Princess and Brave help nurture and build on the Seven Grandfather Teachings, healthy living and community involvement. We have the 2026 Crown and Medallions on display at WHS!
