The beaver represents wisdom because he uses his natural gift wisely for his survival, and changes his environment in an way that best suits his life and the life of his community. Like the beaver, we must realize that everyone has something to offer and skills that they can share with others. We must work hard to open our ears and our minds and respect our teachers, our parents, and others who want to share their wisdom with us. When we understand that everyone has something to share, we gain wisdom and become better people.
