The Native Student Aid Portal (NSAP) is a search tool for Native American students, families, and educational stakeholders to identify Indigenous specific financial aid available in the United States. Beginning in July 2023, our team of researchers and web developers from the University of Minnesota College of Education and Human Development and the University of Wisconsin–Madison's Student Success Through Applied Research Lab collected financial aid information from over 6,000 postsecondary institutions, every postsecondary system, and all U.S. states and territories. In the May 2025 version of the NSAP, we identified over 260 financial aid opportunities available to Native students!
