WOWE American Indian Education Program
will be holding their annual Spring Powwow on
March 20 from 12:00-3:00 in the Waubun
High School Gym. All students in grades 4-12
will be attending. Ogema students are
welcome to attend but must be accompanied
by their parent/guardian.

Vince Beyl is this year’s Emcee and will
include two drumming groups, arena directors
and Princess & Brave contests. Honorarium
dancers are encouraged. This is a special
event for all WOWE students to experience
the magic and tradition of a powwow. This
year there will also be a ceremony to honor
the White Earth Flag as it is added to the
Gymnasium permanently.

newsletter. Most importantly, all community
members are welcome to attend.
