IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION SUPERVISOR

Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Community Schools ISD #435 is seeking Full-time In School Suspension Supervisor for the 2021-2022 school year at the Waubun Site.

This position is directly responsible for running the ISS room when students are assigned to the room, assists with attendance and truancy issues and will also be called upon to create positive learning and reflective experiences for students that are assigned to ISS so that they are successful. The ISS supervisor will also help monitor tardiness and assign detentions. Additionally, the ISS supervisor will supervise lunch/homeroom detention and assist with supervision when there are no students assigned to either detention or in school suspension.

Minimum qualifications are High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years preferred experience. Must be able to meet Minnesota Paraprofessional requirements by having an Associate degree or higher, or the ability to successfully pass the Para-Pro Test.

DEAN of STUDENTS, Full-time

(Grades 7-12)  - Waubun Site

Waubun-Ogema-White Earth District #435 is seeking a Full-time (7-12) Dean of Students at our Waubun site. This position is responsible to build and maintain a school climate by providing student disciplinary management in the areas of: student attendance, discipline, safety, and related pupil personnel services, while working closely with the Waubun Principal, Waubun Elementary Dean of Students, staff and parents to create a positive learning environment for all students. Minimum Qualifications include three (3) to five (5) years of teaching and/or leadership experience in the educational field. Applicant must be willing to complete Crisis Prevention Institution (CPI) Training and be involved in Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) Training within 3 months of employment.

COACHING POSITIONS

In combination with Mahnomen, Waubun-Ogema-White Earth District #435 is seeking various COACHING positions for the 2020-2021 season.

Applicants must have quality communication skills, solid background, knowledge in the sport, and the ability to lead. Coaching is a great opportunity to develop young athletes for the next generation and to instill values through athletics.
