ELEMENTARY PARAPROFESSIONAL

2 LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

Waubun-Ogema-White Earth District #435 is seeking two (2) Long-term Substitute Teachers. (1) Elementary and (1) High School to join our team of educators for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.

You will work in the absence of our regular teachers – aiding students in their daily tasks and helping ensure the understanding of the subject matter is covered. You should have some classroom teaching experience and possess the skills needed to cover daily instruction and run the classroom environment in an orderly fashion. These positions require knowledge of technology in order to assist students/parents/guardians with homework support questions. Due to COVID, we are currently operating with a distance learning model.

Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Community Schools ISD #435 is seeking a Full-time Special Education Paraprofessional/SACC Coordinator (after-school program) duties in Ogema, starting immediately. Due to COVID-19, the duties and times of this position may fluctuate to meet the needs of the current learning model we are in. This position will assist, support and work closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members in providing educational benefits for students, and is also responsible for coordinating the after-school program, which runs 3:30 - 5:30/6:00 (Monday - Friday) while school is in session. Minimum qualifications are High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years preferred experience. Must be able to meet Minnesota Paraprofessional requirements by having an Associate degree or higher, or the ability to successfully pass the Para-Pro Test. Starting rate of pay is $14.80/hour with Benefits. Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required and prefer the applicant to have a Boiler Operator's License, the starting wage is $13.80 per hour without license and $14.80 per hour with license.

COACHING POSITIONS

In combination with Mahnomen, Waubun-Ogema-White Earth District #435 is seeking various COACHING positions for the 2020-2021 season.

Applicants must have quality communication skills, solid background, knowledge in the sport, and the ability to lead. Coaching is a great opportunity to develop young athletes for the next generation and to instill values through athletics.

All coaches will work under the guidance of our Interim Activities Director, Tim Spaeth.
