Ojibwe Teacher, K-12

Waubun-Ogema-White Earth District #435 is seeking full time K-12 Ojibwe Teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. Candidate should possess a current Minnesota Teaching Licensure or ability to be licensed in American Indian Language and Culture and be a fluent Ojibwe speaker. The Ojibwe Language and Culture Teacher will structure, implement and manage direct instruction and facilitate learning for students in grades K-12 that motivates them to develop skills and competencies related to understanding Ojibwe language, traditions, customs, and values; and develop understanding and experiences with a variety of art forms with a focus on Ojibwe culture.
