ELEMENTARY DEAN OF STUDENTS

Waubun-Ogema-White Earth District #435 is seeking a Full-time Elementary Dean of Students at our Ogema site.  This position is responsible to build and maintain a school climate by providing student disciplinary management in the areas of: student attendance, discipline, safety, and related pupil personnel services, while working closely with the Elementary School Principal, staff and parents to create a positive learning environment for all students.  Minimum Qualifications include three (3) to five (5) years of teaching and/or leadership experience in the educational field. Applicant must be willing to complete Crisis Prevention Institution (CPI) Training and be involved in Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) Training within 3 months of employment.

District Bus Driver Position(s)

Waubun-Ogema-White Earth District #435 is seeking to fill a District Bus Driver position(s) for our Special Education transportation route.  This position is responsible for driving the bus on the designated bus route. A Paraprofessional works with the Bus Driver and rides along to manage student needs.

 This position can be negotiated as full-time, seasonal, or part-time (a.m. route or p.m. route). The District is also open to any interested candidate(s) job-sharing the associated duties. Rate of pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 an hour dependent on experience/qualifications.

 The minimum qualifications are: High School Diploma or equivalent and potential hires must either have a Class B Driver’s License with a passenger endorsement, or possess the ability to acquire one.  Applicant must be insurable. Ojibwe Teacher, K-12

Waubun-Ogema-White Earth District #435 is seeking full time K-12 Ojibwe Teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. Candidate should possess a current Minnesota Teaching Licensure or ability to be licensed in American Indian Language and Culture and be a fluent Ojibwe speaker. The Ojibwe Language and Culture Teacher will structure, implement and manage direct instruction and facilitate learning for students in grades K-12 that motivates them to develop skills and competencies related to understanding Ojibwe language, traditions, customs, and values; and develop understanding and experiences with a variety of art forms with a focus on Ojibwe culture. SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS:

Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Schools is seeking to hire a Substitute Custodian, this position will provide students and staff with a clean and functional environment for education.  Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required and prefer the applicant to have a Boiler Operator's License, the starting wage is $12.15 per hour without license and $13.15 per hour with license.

Minimum Qualifications are High School Diploma or Equivalent and require experience in food service and willing to obtain Serve Safe Certification within six (6) months of employment, starting wage is $12.45 per hour.

SUBSTITUTE K-12 Teachers needed for 2017-2018 School Year!

The applicant needs to be currently licensed through the Minnesota Department of Education. The daily rate of pay is $110.00, half-days is $65.00.
